Job Description
Location: Golf VX - Arlington Heights, IL
Hours: 35-40 per week
Golf VX is a leader in golf technology, expanding into entertainment and hospitality with our flagship indoor golf simulator venue. As a Golf Operations Captain, you'll play a key role in leading shifts, inspiring your team, and creating an unforgettable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts with energy, motivating the team to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Oversee both FOH and BOH operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Greet guests, assist in bays, and ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Manage inventory, track stock, and support events.
  • Train, coach, and support team members to foster a positive, team-first culture.
  • Handle cash/credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Uphold cleanliness, food safety, and operational excellence.
  • Assist GM in driving sales, coordinating events, and elevating guest experiences.
  • Support opening/closing duties, restocking, and maintaining readiness.
  • Enforce alcohol service laws and guest safety policies.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
  • Must be 21+ (able to serve alcohol per state law).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Experience with inventory, cash handling, and food safety.
  • Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays required).
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service and teamwork.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs and work on your feet for full shifts.
