Work Environment

The role of Outpatient Physical Therapist will involve working onsite in our outpatient office, equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technology to assist in your daily duties. Our office has a friendly atmosphere, where teamwork is valued, and mutual respect is encouraged. With a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, you will enjoy work-life balance while treating a diverse patient population in a comfortable setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients’ physical conditions, strengths, limitations, and personal goals, ensuring individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and balance training, tailored to promote functionality and establish mobility.
  • Regularly monitor patients' progress, adapting treatment plans and techniques to achieve the most effective outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and at-home exercises that support ongoing recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to state and federal regulations to promote accountability and compliance.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a varied patient base, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and those managing chronic conditions. Your focus will be on providing personalized care that respects the unique needs and goals of each patient, empowering them to regain their independence and confidence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
  • Active license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster positive patient relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Dedication to providing patient-centered care with a compassionate, adaptable approach.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure effective documentation and patient management.
Compensation and Benefits
