Job Description

Golden Rise Contracting is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a commercial door replacement and access control project in San Diego, CA. This is a temporary prevailing wage assignment expected to last up to 30 days.


The Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating labor, ensuring project compliance, maintaining schedules, and overseeing installation activities related to commercial roll-up doors, hollow metal doors, and access control integration.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise all on-site doors installation activities
  • Coordinate installers and project manpower
  • Ensure project is completed safely, on schedule, and within specifications
  • Manage inspections, quality control, and field documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and project management
  • Verify compliance with Caltrans requirements and project specifications
  • Maintain communication with client representatives and field crews
  • Ensure prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
  • Experience with commercial overhead doors, hollow metal doors, and access control systems
  • Strong understanding of prevailing wage projects and certified payroll compliance
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required


Compensation

  • $35/hour for non-site/project coordination work
  • Days worked on-site performing construction-related supervision activities will be paid at applicable prevailing wage rates
  • Temporary project-based assignment (approximately 30 to 60 days)
