Golden Physical Therapy is a PT-owned orthopedic outpatient practice located in a state-of-the-art facility that spans 5,000 square feet. Our focus is on providing high-quality care to patients with private medical insurance. Our team comprises two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom share a common goal of improving patient health and wellness. Work Environment

Located in picturesque Portland, Connecticut, our rehabilitation facility is equipped with the latest in sports medicine technology and resources. The clinic is designed to foster a supportive and inspiring atmosphere for both patients and staff. Our schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent work-life balance for all employees. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will engage directly with patients to facilitate transformative rehabilitation experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in comprehensive assessments to efficiently identify and address patients' rehabilitation objectives and needs.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on one patient per hour, providing personalized therapy interventions.
• Design individualized care plans that utilize a variety of treatment techniques aimed at enhancing range of motion and mobility.
• Implement cost-effective treatment options to reduce reliance on medications and explore non-surgical methods of care.
• Motivate and empower patients to achieve their functional goals, promoting increased strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document patient progress and outcomes thoroughly, ensuring clear communication within the team and with patients.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to contribute to the holistic care and rehabilitation of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves a diverse range of orthopedic patients who are seeking to regain functionality following injuries or surgeries. We focus on delivering tailored programs that not only address rehabilitation but also enhance overall wellness. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Connecticut license as a Physical Therapist.
• Professional record free of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Experience in crafting and implementing exercise protocols tailored to various patient needs.
• Proficiency in WebPT EMR Software or similar systems for effective patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing and executing fitness and wellness programs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000–120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
