Golden Dove Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth therapy sessions, providing both individual and group therapy to clients utilizing secure digital platforms.
• Complete comprehensive assessments for new clients and develop tailored treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals.
• Document client progress meticulously, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards, as well as contributing to the organization’s data-driven efforts for improved therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to guide sessions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and solution-focused counseling.
• Engage in regular consultation with supervisors and peers to enhance therapeutic strategies and share best practices.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring client safety and adapting treatment plans as needed in real-time.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Golden Dove Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Your understanding and experience with these different backgrounds will be essential in fostering a supportive and understanding therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess an active LMHC license in the State of New York.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for remote interaction with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within a telehealth or outpatient setting.
• Experience and comfort in working with diverse populations, exhibiting cultural competence in therapeutic practice.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems for client management.

Compensation and Benefits

Golden Dove Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 95,000 annually.
