Benefits Analyst – 12-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Opportunity

Are you an experienced Benefits Analyst with a strong background in group benefits and a passion for delivering exceptional client service? Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused professional to join their team on a 12-month contract providing maternity leave coverage, with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent position following the contract.

As a Benefits Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of group benefits clients, providing expert guidance on plan administration, renewals, changes, and day-to-day client needs. You will work closely with clients, insurers, and internal teams to ensure benefit programs are effectively managed and clients receive timely, knowledgeable support.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the group benefits industry, excellent communication and relationship-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. •  Drive strategic impact – Perform annual renewal analysis and negotiate with carriers to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Requirements

•  5+ years of experience in group benefits with a deep understanding of the Canadian benefits landscape.
  
•  Financial acumen – Strong analytical skills and experience in benefits underwriting and financial reporting.
  
•  Tech-savvy mindset – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  
•  Attention to detail – Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
