Job description

Go Maverick Group has a fast-growing, Ohio-based wholesale distributor client in the children's and baby space-and the leading supplier of essential products to businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations nationwide. They're scaling quickly, and looking for driven, early-career professionals who want more than just a job-they want ownership, visibility, and a clear path to grow.

As an Account Manager, you'll step into a high-impact role where you'll both manage key customer relationships and actively grow new business. This is a perfect opportunity for someone 2-4 years into their career who's ready to take the next step-owning accounts, building strategy, and directly influencing revenue.

You won't be doing this alone-you'll work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and vendor partners to bring ideas to life and drive results.

What You'll Do

  • Build and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers across your accounts
  • Learn your customers' businesses inside and out-how they operate, what they need, and where you can add value
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Own your pipeline-from lead generation to closing deals
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to represent Child Source and expand your network
  • Collaborate across teams (Marketing, Customer Service, vendors) to deliver solutions and drive results
  • Help develop account strategies, pricing approaches, and growth plans
  • Bring forward ideas based on market trends and customer insights
  • Present solutions confidently and negotiate new business opportunities
