Job description

For over 100 years, Globe Machine Manufacturing has designed and built custom capital equipment for manufacturers in the pulp & paper, building products, and advanced composites industries. Globe specializes in large-scale material handling systems, automation, and integrated production equipment used in complex industrial environments.
Role Overview
At Globe, Project Managers play a key role in delivering complex industrial solutions for leading manufacturers. You'll work with experienced engineering and manufacturing teams while leading meaningful capital equipment projects from kickoff through commissioning.
This role works closely with customers and internal teams across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and field services to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.
If you enjoy leading complex technical projects and working with cross-functional teams to bring large-scale equipment to life, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead capital equipment projects from initial handoff through installation and startup
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and field services
  • Monitor project financials, change orders, and overall project risk
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

What Makes You a Great Fit
You are an organized and customer-focused Project Manager who thrives in technical environments. You're comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing complex timelines, and keeping projects moving forward.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional project teams
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings or engineering documentation

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with capital equipment or industrial automation projects
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training
  • Familiarity with mechanical or electrical systems
  • Experience working with external vendors or subcontractors
