GiveDish is a new and innovative charitable giving platform that connects restaurants with charities and harnesses the power of social media, charitable giving and conscious capitalism. Restaurants tag select menu items as "GiveDish Eligible" and when sold, a pre-determined amount goes to the restaurant's designated charity. Restaurants can also accept recipe submissions from customers via our mobile app and if selected, that patron's dish is prepped and served by the restaurant and their name and "GiveDish" are listed on a special menu insert. GiveDish and the designated charity promote the restaurant on social media, in email and other online/offline promotions to drive more customers to the restaurant. More customers for the restaurant, more donations for charity!
GiveDish is NOT a non-profit. We are a for-profit company that generates donations on behalf of our non-profit charity partners through the sale of restaurant menu items. Our company is built on the foundational principles of Conscious Capitalism and we believe combining good food, a good cause and inviting the restaurant patron to be part of the story creates a win for everyone. Job Description

• Daily posting and interaction as well as coming up with new ideas and opportunities to expand our social media presence on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter (primarily)
• Film and edit original videos for social media featuring our restaurant, charity partners and team members
• Monitor and post on restaurant and charity related blogs and forums
• Assisting with email marketing campaigns
• Event coordination support ("virtual" and real-time)
• Identifying social media trends and researching best practices

Qualifications
Students applying for this internship should be Marketing/Business or Language majors, with experience on the Web and a solid understanding of social media markets.
Additional Information
This is an unpaid internship based in Orange County, California.
