Job description

The Organizational Behavior Area in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking candidates for two tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning fall semester 2020. The minimum qualifications for these vacancies require that candidates possess a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior or an associated discipline, a clear record of excellent scholarly research and demonstrated expertise in the field, as well as teaching undergraduates/graduate students within the Organizational Behavior or Human Resource Management areas. The Ph.D. must be completed no later than July 1, 2020. Salary and a teaching load of three courses at three credit hours each per year are competitive with leading research universities, with opportunities for involvement in executive programs.
Our undergraduate program, which enrolls over 1300 students annually, is consistently ranked among the nation's best by publications such as U.S. News & World Report and Bloomberg Businessweek. Our MBA programs enroll about 225 students each year, while the Executive Masters programs enroll about 120 students each year. The College's Ph.D. program typically enrolls between 5 and 10 students each year and has approximately 45 students in residence.
The College is the home of the following programs and centers: The Cecil B. Day Program for Business Ethics, the Technology Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER), a U.S. Department of Education funded Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business, the Center for Business Analytics, and the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship. The College hosts a wide range of annual conferences and programs, including topics such as engineering entrepreneurship research, big data and business analytics, sustainability, business ethics, leadership, and an Impact Speakers Series featuring highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries The College provides an intellectually stimulating research environment. Faculty members are active in research and publish in leading journals, books, monographs, and conference proceedings.
