Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, developing positive rapport and trust while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining healthy boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, address any challenges, and prepare for discharges when appropriate, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with clients to create, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans designed to meet their unique mental health needs.
• Document client interactions diligently by maintaining accurate progress notes and treatment records, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Perform thorough intake assessments to determine the needs and goals of new clients, laying the groundwork for effective therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Genesis Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes both children and adults facing a variety of mental health conditions. Your role is crucial in providing therapeutic support to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological challenges. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon is essential, ensuring that you are recognized as a qualified mental health practitioner.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is required, demonstrating your expertise in delivering quality mental health care.
• Proficiency in using technology is necessary, including experience with Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and electronic health record systems such as PIMSY.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with clients in a community health clinic setting may be beneficial. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and approaches can also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Genesis Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, with earnings based on a Fee-for-Service model.
