Job description

The School Corporation Test Coordinator manages all testing for Genai Excellence Academhy. This role ensures secure, accurate, and compliant test administration, coordinates testing logistics across all corporation schools, and trains staff on assessment integrity.


Position Details

  • Reports to: Assistant Superintendent or Director
  • Classification: Exempt / Certified or Administrative Support
  • Work Year: Full-time (12-month or school year plus extended days)

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Oversee scheduling, ordering, and distribution of all state and national test materials (e.g., state assessments, AP, college readiness exams) across corporation buildings.
  • Compliance & Security: Maintain strict test security, enforce state and federal regulations, and lead corporation-wide training on test integrity.
  • Data & Systems Coordination: Manage online testing platforms and user roles, verify student data records, and disaggregate assessment data for district review.
  • Staff Support: Serve as the primary liaison between the state department of education, testing vendors, and individual school test coordinators.
  • Accommodations: Ensure student testing accommodations and specialized supports are properly documented and implemented.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Licensure: Valid state teaching or administrative license (where applicable).
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of school-based experience with standardized testing administration.
  • Skills: Advanced computer and data management skills (proficient in Excel, student information systems, and online secure testing engines).
