Senior Solutions Architect

Location: Creve Coeur, MO and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Compensation: $167,000 – $229,100 per year. Workweek: 40hrs, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Job Description

Geminisoft Solutions seeks in Creve Coeur, MO and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to design and implement cloud-native and microservices-based architectures. Review platform architecture goals and leveraging existing frameworks to build new systems. Create architecture diagrams, data flow, and component diagrams. Diagnose and debug complex application issues using enterprise tools and services. Mitigate business risks and ensure the health of software applications and services. Lead the transformation of legacy applications into cloud-based and microservices-driven architectures. Plan, design, and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

Qualifications

Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field, plus 1 year of IT experience with Splunk, Spring Boot, and Python. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience. The five years must include one year of experience with Splunk, Spring Boot, and Python.

Other Requirements

Domestic travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required up to 25%, based on business needs. Incidental telecommuting permitted, dependent on project requirements. All experience may be acquired concurrently.
