You will be instrumental in integrating robotics, vision systems, and peripheral equipment, while leveraging advanced data programming languages to optimize efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • PLC & Interface Development: Apply advanced knowledge of the Allen-Bradley PLC / Rockwell Automation platform to program, develop, and maintain code for automated manufacturing cells. Create and modify HMI and SCADA systems to develop intuitive operator interfaces.

  • System Integration: Collaborate directly with robot programmers to integrate PLC logic with robot execution. Seamlessly integrate peripheral equipment including vision systems, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and safety scanners into automated cells.

  • Data Analysis & Optimization: Use programming languages like SQL and Python to perform advanced data analysis directly from automated manufacturing cells. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing programming sequences to increase manufacturing efficiencies.

  • Safety & Workplace Standards: Adhere strictly to all safety requirements, communicate identified operational risks to leadership, and actively assist in resolution. Complete all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) protocols to maintain a safe, organized, and clean engineering environment.

  • Team Alignment: Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Positively contributes to company culture by aligning with company values and codes of conduct, displaying enthusiasm for tasks, and communicating professionally across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced, proven knowledge of the Allen-Bradley PLC / Rockwell Automation platform and modern HMI/SCADA interfaces.
  • Hardware & Schematics: Demonstrated ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and navigate AutoCAD models.
  • Data & Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience analyzing complex automated systems and industrial data.
  • Collaboration: Proven capability to work effectively within a cross-functional environment and collaborate smoothly on multi-developer programming teams.
