Industrial Engineer


Position Summary

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing production systems by analyzing, modeling, and improving manufacturing workflows and capacity. This role drives efficiency, reduces waste, improves quality, and champions Lean manufacturing methodologies to maximize productivity and cost effectiveness across operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes through time studies and workflow assessments to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and waste.
  • Use statistical analysis, simulations, and data-driven methods to optimize material flow and labor utilization.
  • Develop and maintain process and workflow models to balance job content, maximize productivity, and minimize waste.
  • Build capacity models to support optimized production scheduling and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain 5S standards to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Champion Lean Six Sigma methodologies by providing training, coaching, and mentoring on continuous improvement projects.
  • Support cost-benefit analyses for new equipment, materials, and process changes to ensure maximum return on investment


Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field required
  • 5+ years in Industrial Engineering and process improvement
