Executive Kitchen Manager – Upscale Steak & Seafood Restaurant

We are seeking an Executive Kitchen Manager in North Indianapolis, IN. to lead the back-of-house operations for a premier upscale steak and seafood restaurant. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at managing people, driving profitability, and maintaining exceptional food quality in a polished, high-volume environment.


Job Description: 


  • Lead, coach, and develop a talented culinary team.
  • Ensure consistent execution of all recipes, standards, and presentation.
  • Manage food, labor, and operating costs while maximizing profitability.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor kitchen managers and hourly team members.
  • Partner with the General Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Drive accountability, productivity, and operational excellence every day.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of Executive Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, or Kitchen Manager experience in an upscale, polished casual, or fine dining restaurant.
  • Experience leading high-volume kitchen operations.
  • Strong knowledge of food cost, labor management, inventory, and purchasing.
  • Proven leadership with a passion for coaching and developing people.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Stable work history and a track record of success.
