Gator

Gator is a new American restaurant in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We specialize in contemporary comfort food with a strong focus on sustainability and full utilization of seasonal products. We're a small, intimate team of extremely talented front- and back-of-house industry people looking to add a new line cook to our team.
Our current position is a fryer station/expo cook. We're looking to add the right candidate part-time, Thursday-Sunday nights from 4:30pm-approximately 10pm.
Our ideal candidate is:
-a self starter and team player
-looking to bring their own techniques and experience to a small team while also wanting to learn more and grow their culinary career
-works cleanly and efficiently
-has 2 years+ experience on the hotline
-can read English (as this is an expo and cook position); although we are a bilingual kitchen and do not require native speaking
