Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and clinical evaluations to understand the mental health challenges faced by clients, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies aimed at promoting personal growth, resilience, and healing.
• Establish clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and regularly monitor progress towards these goals, modifying strategies as necessary.
• Deliver teletherapy services to clients who may encounter barriers to traditional in-person sessions, ensuring continued access to essential mental health support.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in adherence to ethical standards and best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in mental health care.

Qualifications

• An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Proven ability to establish secure, trusting relationships with clients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nonjudgmental attitude, characterized by empathy and sympathy toward clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling efficient management of caseloads and associated administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to treat addiction and trauma.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.
• Prior experience in a community health setting or similar clinical environment.
