You will leverage your problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and collaborative mindset to enhance our merchandise planning processes, reduce costs, and exceed customer expectations. This is a hands-on role that will challenge you to make decisions with impact while working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This position will sit onsite in Grapevine, TX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning process, managing sales, margin, and inventory for assigned categories, including SKU-level forecasting and reporting.
  • Create and maintain strategic inventory plans, ensuring accurate forecasting and replenishment needs in alignment with the product life cycle.
  • Exhibit accountability and ownership over all aspects of the assigned categories.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, optimize performance, and contribute to GameStop’s overarching objectives.
  • Provide key insights and recommendations to improve decision-making and support company growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory planning, or retail buying.
  • Proven experience in developing SKU-level and category-level merchandise plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
  • High proficiency in Excel, with experience in analyzing raw data and driving actionable insights, is critical to success.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in uncertain or ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools like Power BI required.
  • Experience with SQL is a plus.
