🚀 We're Hiring: AI Developer — Gadriel AI Corp. (San Diego)

Gadriel AI Corp. is building the pre-production validation layer for the AI era. As AI writes more and more of the world's code — and AI agents take on more autonomous work — someone has to validate it before it ships. That's us. We're an early-stage startup (NVIDIA Inception member) building tools that catch security, compliance, and behavioral issues in AI-generated code and AI agent systems before they reach production.

We're looking for a versatile AI Developer to join our core team and help build the next generation of our platform.

About the role: This is a hands-on, high-ownership engineering role at an early-stage startup. You'll be working directly with the founders, shaping architecture decisions, and shipping features fast. You won't be one engineer among fifty — your work will directly define the product.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and ship features across our AI validation products end-to-end
• Work daily inside modern AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and similar) as your primary development environment
• Use our own product, GCA, as part of your development workflow — dogfooding is core to how we build
• Build integrations with AI coding assistants, CLIs, and developer tooling
• Contribute to backend services, CLI tooling, and validation logic
• Work with structured data, static analysis concepts, and developer-facing reporting (HTML/PDF reports, findings pipelines)
• Participate in architecture and product discussions — your input shapes the roadmap
• Help maintain code quality, testing, and CI practices as the team and product scale
• Move fast, iterate based on real user feedback, and adapt as priorities shift

What we're looking for:

• Strong engineering fundamentals — comfortable across the stack (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or similar languages)
• Real, hands-on experience building with AI coding assistants — not just occasional use, but genuine daily-driver familiarity
• Experience with CLI tools, developer tooling, or dev-facing products is a strong plus
• Familiarity with security concepts (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning) or a strong interest in learning them
• Comfortable with Node.js/npm ecosystem tooling
• Startup mindset: high autonomy, comfortable with ambiguity, bias toward shipping
• Strong communication skills — you'll be working closely with a small, distributed team
• Bonus: experience with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, MCP, A2A) or interest in agentic systems
• Bonus: prior startup or 0-to-1 product experience

A note on how we work: We build the tools we sell, and we use them ourselves. You should be comfortable working with our product, Gadriel AI Code Assurance (GCA), as part of your daily workflow — it runs locally alongside your AI coding assistant and validates code as it's written. It's free for individual developers, so you can try it before you apply:
