Job description

GTSC seeks Cybersecurity Engineer u2013 Zero Trust / RMF / SIEM for support of the US House of Representatives. Location: Washington, DC in the National Capitol complex. Mission Your role will be enterprise cybersecurity engineering across Zero Trust, identity-centric access, least privilege, continuous monitoring, threat detection, secure configuration, hardening, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207, cloud, network, endpoint, and identity environments. ~~~ This position is on a new Task Order with client review of contingent hires ~~~ Education : Expertise matters. There is no degree requirement. Core Responsibilities • Implement security controls and Zero Trust architecture. • Support vulnerability management + IR. • Own monitoring and compliance posture. Required Expertise • NIST SP 800-53 control implementation. • Zero Trust (SP 800-207). • SIEM + logging + monitoring. • Incident response + RCA. Desired Expertise • AWS/Azure cloud security. • CISSP / CISM certification. Successful Applicants Your expertise and resume should reference your backgroundwith Zero Trust, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207, IAM, RBAC, PAM, MFA, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, RCA, change management, SOP development, audit readiness, and security documentation. Background Investigation Requirements • Must be a U.S. Citizen. • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. • Must successfully complete the required background investigation and security training.
