The Head Coach at Alloy Personal Training in Mt. Juliet, TN plays a critical leadership role in delivering exceptional client experiences and driving results through Alloy’s evidence-based training systems. This position requires a high-energy, accountable, and organized professional who is passionate about fitness, coaching, and fostering community. The Head Coach is responsible for delivering Alloy workouts, overseeing daily training operations, mentoring coaching staff, and supporting the Director of Training in administrative and operational responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years working in a personal training capacity while juggling other responsibilities that help promote sales and retention. Small group training experience preferred but open to otherwise if strong business experience and acumen is evident. Must also be technically savvy.

Core Responsibilities:

Client-Facing Duties:

• Uphold the mission and core values of Alloy in every session and interaction.

• Implement Alloy’s prescribed workouts with precision, ensuring every client receives a safe, effective, and personalized experience.

• Review and load all client information into the Alloy App before each shift.

• Apply any corrective exercises, restrictions, or special instructions outlined by the Director of Training.

• Promote the Message of the Week during all sessions.

• Accurately record workouts and relevant client notes in the Alloy App.

• Conduct Accountability Sessions to support member progress.

• Conduct SPS (Starting Point Sessions)

• Provide Trainerize workouts to assigned clients.

• Follow up with all no-shows to improve retention and engagement.

• Follow up with encouraging and supportive messages to clients following coaching session.

• Manage client check-ins and check-outs using Mindbody.

• Coaching 30-35 hours per week

• And other duties as assigned

Operations and Logistics:

• Attend events + all scheduled staff meetings and member socials.

• Wear the approved Alloy uniform during training shifts (Alloy logoed top, black or grey pants/shorts).

• Clock in and out using Mindbody.

• Set up appropriate equipment and cue up the daily workout on TV prior to sessions.

• Complete closing tasks as listed on the morning and evening checklists.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility environment at all times.

• Stay present on the training floor during shifts—even without clients—by tidying up or working on responsibilities.

Outreach and Engagement:

• Make 50 calls per week to potential members.

• Distribute promotional materials and support challenge ideas to drive community involvement and engagement.

• Reports that may include: Frequent Sweaters and Milestone report to the Director monthly or weekly.

• Contribute to social media content creation that aligns with the brand and engages the Alloy community.

Employee responsible for maintaining below certification:

• Nationally accredited personal training certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA).

• CPR/AED certification required.
