At The Higgins Lake Campground, great guest experiences don’t happen by accident, they’re led.
We’re hiring an Operations Manager to oversee daily campground operations while leading a team focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day flow of the campground, supporting your team, engaging with guests, and ensuring everything runs smoothly across the property.

What You’ll Do
Oversee Daily Operations
- Manage the day-to-day flow across guest services, store, food service, activities, and grounds
- Ensure all areas are running efficiently and aligned with standards
- Step in where needed to support during busy times
Lead & Develop the Team
- Supervise and support Guest Experience Team Members (our Memory Makers)
- Provide real-time coaching, direction, and feedback
- Help train and develop team members across multiple areas
Drive the Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest interaction is welcoming, consistent, and high quality
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery when needed
- Look for opportunities to improve the overall experience
Be Present on the Grounds
- Stay visible and engaged throughout the campground
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall atmosphere
- Support both guests and team members in real time

Schedule
- Thursday through Monday required
- Weekends and holidays required
- Full-time seasonal role (May-October 15th)

Compensation
• $1,500/biweekly BOE Base Salary
