Gold Street Abstract

Position Overview:

Gold Street Abstract is looking for an organized and proactive Title Coordinator and Clearance Officerto support operations and ensure seamless transactions. This role plays a critical part in preparing files to close, managing closing schedules, and maintaining client relationships. The ideal person takes a file after the title report/commitment is prepared and coordinates it through closing, including clearance, communication with multiple parties, commercial file complexity, lender/attorney coordination, closing desk items, and potentially broader file ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and coordinating closings.
• Document preparation, organization, and distribution.
• Identify and resolve complex title issues.
• Must approach files with a problem-solving get-it-done lens

Qualifications:

• Can handle high-volume email chains, multiple parties, and fast response needs without getting overwhelmed.
• 2-5 years experience as a Title Coordinator
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Minimum of 3 years of title experience.
• Experience with SoftPro is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Must work in either Brooklyn, NY or Lakewood, NJ office

Compensation: Up to $150k depending on experience
