Senior Cyber Security Consultant - Technical Project Lead

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant & Technical Project Lead, you will represent our cybersecurity business in the German market, combining client consulting, project leadership, proposal support, and coordination with specialized delivery teams in Spain.

Your main tasks are:

• Lead or co-lead cybersecurity consulting projects from a technical and deliveryperspective.
• Act as a technical interface between customers in Germany andGMV’s cybersecurity delivery teams in Spain.
• Translate customer requirements,risks, and compliance needs into clear technical requirements and deliverypriorities.
• Support tenders, proposals, pre-sales activities, and technicaloffer preparation.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of cybersecuritysolutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Providetechnical support across topics such as security architecture, vulnerabilitymanagement, incident response, security monitoring, cloud security, identitysecurity, infrastructure security, and compliance-related topics.
• Ensurehigh-quality project delivery, customer satisfaction, and clear communicationacross all parties involved.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for Cyber Security Experts with experience in consulting, technical project leadership, and international collaboration.

If this position sounds like a perfect fit for you, here’s what we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT security, orinformation security.
• Experience in cybersecurity consulting orcustomer-facing technical roles.
• Proven experience in leading or co-leadingtechnical projects.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, standards,architectures, and best practices.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and BSIIT-Grundschutz.
• Ability to bridge technical teams, business stakeholders, andcustomers.
• Strong ownership, self-organization, and accountability.
• Clearcommunication and stakeholder management skills in German and English.
• Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize riskseffectively.
• Collaborative mindset and experience working with internationalor distributed team.

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

• Experience in cybersecurity consulting, technical proposals, tenders, or pre-sales support.
• Knowledge of cloud security, SOC/SIEM operations, incident response, and security monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with leading security platforms and technologies (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto).
• Familiarity with regulated environments, security standards, and relevant cybersecurity certifications.
