Lead Server - GLAM104

Location: 3620 Satellite Blvd, Duluth, GA 30096
Position: Part-Time
Reports to: Venue/Operations Manager

Position Overview

GLAM104 is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Server to help oversee front-of-house service during restaurant, karaoke, nightlife, and special-event operations. This position combines hands-on serving with team leadership, ensuring guests receive fast, friendly, and professional service throughout every shift.

This role offers a quick pathway into higher leadership and management positions for team members who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, initiative, and the ability to lead others.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and professional service to guests, VIP tables, and private parties
• Assign server sections and coordinate opening, shift-change, and closing duties
• Guide and support servers during busy shifts
• Ensure guest orders are entered accurately and delivered promptly
• Coordinate with bartenders, kitchen staff, DJs, security, and management
• Monitor tables and resolve service issues before they escalate
• Assist with training and onboarding new servers
• Verify that tabs, payments, discounts, and promotional offers are handled correctly
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service areas
• Help manage VIP reservations, bottle service, and special-event service
• Ensure staff follow GLAM104 policies and responsible alcohol-service procedures
• Report guest incidents, staffing concerns, shortages, and operational issues to management
• Complete end-of-shift checkout and closing procedures

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, bar, lounge, or nightclub serving experience required
• Leadership, shift-lead, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling guest complaints and resolving problems professionally
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take initiative
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Must meet all legal requirements for serving alcohol in Georgia
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Korean or Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to safely carry trays, beverages, and service supplies
• Ability to work in a loud, crowded, and high-energy nightlife environment
