Job description

Main tasks
  • Overall responsibility for accounting, financial control and compliance across North America
  • Ensure timely and accurate group reporting, management reporting, and external reporting
  • Lead financial planning processes including forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning
  • Act as finance business partner to the Managing Director – North America
  • Lead, develop and manage the North America finance team
  • Drive harmonization and standardization of financial processes aligned with Group standards
Secondary tasks
  • Support business development initiatives, including CAPEX projects and restructuring
  • Provide financial analysis for pricing, costing, and profitability improvement initiatives
  • Champion the use of BI tools (e.g. Targit) across the region
  • Support audit processes, tax compliance, and liaison with external advisors
Span of control
  • Management of North America finance team (approx. 4 employees across 2 sites)
  • Oversight of accounting, reporting, treasury, and credit control activities
Scope of responsibility
  • Full ownership of finance processes across North America
  • Responsibility for financial accuracy, compliance, and performance reporting
  • Contributor to global finance alignment and process excellence initiatives
Education & certifications
  • Qualified Accountant (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree level (minimum)
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Experience in finance business partnering
  • Experience in multinational and multi-site environments
  • Experience with group reporting and audit processes
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment is an advantage
Skills
  • Strong financial analysis and accounting knowledge
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Project management capabilities
  • Ability to manage and develop teams (direct and indirect)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
