Job Description: Pitching Coach

Company Overview: Futures Training Center is the premier baseball and softball training facility on the west coast. For athletes ranging from amateur to professional players, we utilize data and technology to inform training decisions and build development programs for their strength, speed, hitting, pitching, and defensive needs. We focus on creating a world class training experience for the players that trust us with their development by building meaningful relationships and utilizing tech and data at a professional level.


Role Overview: The Pitching Coach is responsible for leading pitching sessions, assisting in programming, and ensuring accurate data capture to support athlete development. This role fosters positive relationships with athletes, parents, and staff while maintaining a clean and organized training environment. Coaches are expected to utilize performance technology such as Trackman and the ArmCare App to enhance player development. Additionally, participation in staff meetings and collaboration with other coaches is essential to maintaining a high-quality training program. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in pitching instruction and a passion for athlete growth in a data-driven environment. This position operates in a dynamic training environment and requires a hands-on coaching approach to optimize athlete development while delivering clear and concise instructions to ensure athlete safety in the facility.


This is a Full-Time on-site position based in Long Beach CA.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead or assist pitching sessions
  • Ensure data capture
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and equipment
  • Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, and staff
  • Assist in programming pitching sessions
  • Attend staff meetings


Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of pitching coaching experience preferred


Schedule: Monday - Thursday 12pm-9pm & Friday 10am-7pm


Compensation: $26 - $32 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance and paid time off
