Job description

Title: Project Manager
Location: Chester, Virginia
Years of exp: 9+ years
*local candidates strongly preferred
*candidates must possess an active PMP from PMI or a VITA PM certification. NO other certs accepted
*Telework schedule will be determined by manager. Current policy is up to 3 days a week teleworking.
Required Skills:
  • Needed to serve as the single point of contact for resolution of billing data updates, billing inquiries, billing disputes, forecasting and budget, etc.
  • Broad knowledge and/or hands on experience in multiple IT Services within the following areas: service desk, end user services (PCs, mobile technology, messaging), data center (server, storage, mainframe), network, voice, and cyber security Demonstrated success influencing others, conflict resolution, sound judgment in managing sensitive data Proven success in achieving outcomes through collaboration across the business Foundational IT/technical knowledge preferred (e.g. ability to understand Agile methodology, SDLC process).
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills Ability to set priorities and adapt to changes in a quick, professional manner Detail Oriented with the ability to organize and coordinate activities Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
