The 3D Printer Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently operating and maintaining Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printing equipment to produce high-quality parts. This role involves setup, material handling, quality inspection, troubleshooting, and post-processing tasks, ensuring safety compliance and inventory management during standard 8-hour part-time shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up SLS 3D printing equipment for each production run
• Operate printers and load materials accurately
• Inspect printed parts for quality and adherence to specifications
• Perform basic machine cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot and conduct advanced repairs to minimize downtime
• Manage inventory of printing materials and supplies
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
• Conduct post-processing including cleaning and finishing of printed parts

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in 3D printing operation
• Technical diploma in manufacturing or a related field
• Knowledge of 3D Printing Technology and Additive Manufacturing
• Experience with CNC machine operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Effective problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
