The Employment Specialist at Functional Industries is responsible for assisting individuals with disabilities with career development, job placement, professional goals and long-term workplace success strategies.
WHAT WOULD A DAY LOOK LIKE AS AN EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST AT FUNCTIONAL INDUSTIRES?
- Develop person centered employment/support plans
- Guide individuals in learning to complete job tasks
- Assist with developing interpersonal skills necessary in the workplace
- Build relationships in the community with businesses and team members
- Develop and follow short and long term work experiences in the community

Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred with 1-3 years related experience in human services, business development, or career services. We will also consider candidates with other college education and work experience. Background Study from the Department of Human Services and Motor Vehicle Record Clearance is required. Candidates must have a valid MN driver's license and current automobile insurance coverage, EOE.
