Work Environment

This position is based onsite in a hospital setting in Harrison, New York, where a collaborative atmosphere thrives. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technology that enables you to apply modern techniques in hands-on therapy. Our flexible scheduling encourages work-life balance, with primary hours typically set from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a predictable work schedule as you navigate the various needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individualized Plans of Care (POC) for patients, implementing tailored treatment strategies.
• Deliver hands-on manual therapy techniques and functional exercises that cater to the specific rehabilitative needs of each patient.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment details in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and seamless communication.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations concerning patient treatment and documentation practices, promoting ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

• New York State Licensure: A current NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistants is required to ensure compliance and quality of care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time PTA role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 60,000 yearly, with opportunities for additional productivity bonuses. Benefits include:
