Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of orthopedic patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, leading to targeted treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and equipment designed to relieve pain and enhance mobility.
  • Monitor and document patient progress consistently, adapting treatment protocols as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Provide education and training for patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and overall strategies for improving daily functioning.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care, participating in team meetings and case reviews.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements by attending workshops, engaging with professional bodies, and reviewing relevant literature.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population experiencing a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Your expertise will help facilitate their recovery through tailored interventions and compassionate support, ensuring every patient can achieve their maximum potential.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • State certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist are mandatory.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate treatment plans and engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and familiarity with word processing tools.
  • Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills, particularly in fast-paced clinical settings.
Preferred Experience
  • While prior work experience is not required, internships or clinical rotations in orthopedic settings are advantageous.
  • Experience with a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, will be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
