Job description

The Fuller Center is seeking a Full Time Center Director for our East Campus in Boca Raton. The Center Director provides comprehensive leadership, administrative oversight, and daily operational supervision for the school. Responsible for driving excellence across student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and staff development, the Center Director leads all phases of instructional programming, budgetary planning, operations, student counseling, and discipline. This role serves as a key community ambassador, fostering positive relationships with families, community partners, and leadership across Fuller Center campuses to ensure a high-quality, compliant, and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
  • Direct daily school and administrative office operations, fostering a safe, productive, and standards-based learning environment.
  • Conduct weekly classroom observations to evaluate instruction, classroom management, and organizational effectiveness; complete formal evaluations per school calendar timelines.
  • Provide targeted professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to teachers, assistant teachers, and administrative staff.
  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit, hire, onboard, and evaluate faculty and staff; manage performance coaching, disciplinary processes, and dismissals as needed.
  • Manage staff attendance, time-off requests, lateness, and daily classroom coverage.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor school operational budgets, curriculum resources, and supply allocations.
  • Oversee procurement processes for the Step Up For Students scholarship program, assisting families with applications, monitoring approvals, and tracking disbursements.
  • Manage student fee collection, tuition balances, and strategies to maintain maximum enrollment capacity throughout the school year.
  • Ensure maintenance of technology, physical property, and educational equipment.
  • Preside over staff meetings and meet monthly with the Chief Program Officer to deliver detailed status reports.
  • Coordinate monthly and annual event calendars in alignment with both Fuller Center locations (East & West).
  • Lead and participate in parent-teacher-student conferences to address academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.
  • Serve as an ambassador in community network meetings and local outreach activities to recruit students and build strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure full compliance with Department of Education regulations, licensing standards, and student record-keeping requirements.
  • Conduct required monthly safety protocols, including fire drills, active shooter, and lockdown procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional teaching experience.
  • Proven track record in organizational management, staff supervision, and instructional leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and educational management technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal education laws, safety regulations, and curriculum standards.

Preferred / Desired Qualifications
  • Experience using administrative platforms such as CareDay or PROCARE.
  • Prior leadership experience managing multi-site educational operations, non-profit programs, or state scholarship frameworks (e.g., Step Up For Students).
  • Multilingual proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or Russian is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
