Full Throttle Security Corp. is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain safe, secure, and well-managed environments for people and assets in Orlando, FL.

Position Summary

As a Security Officer, you will help protect company property, personnel, and visitors by monitoring assigned areas, following established security procedures, and responding appropriately to incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining order, deterring wrongdoing, and ensuring a safe, professional atmosphere.

This full-time, onsite role requires a dependable, alert presence and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned premises and activity to deter violations and ensure compliance with security procedures

• Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, observing for safety and security concerns

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and timely manner

• Document observations, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with company reporting standards

• Maintain a visible security presence while providing courteous, helpful customer service to visitors and staff

Required Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness

• Strong situational awareness and judgment in dynamic or high-visibility environments

• Professional communication skills for interacting with clients, visitors, and internal teams

• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow established procedures consistently

• Willingness to work onsite in Orlando, FL in a full-time capacity

• Must have valid Driver's license

• Must have Florida state Class D Security license

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or a related field

• Familiarity with basic incident reporting and documentation practices

• Experience handling access control, visitor management, or escort procedures

• Training or familiarity with de-escalation techniques and incident response protocols

Compensation

Hourly rate: $16
