In this full-time, onsite role, you will provide critical rehabilitative care to patients in their homes, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life. Your expertise will impact lives, as you assist clients in overcoming physical challenges and achieving their personal health goals.

About the Organization

Full Motion Physical Therapy is a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy services, particularly focusing on home care. Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of our community through personalized rehabilitation and physical therapy services. We pride ourselves on embracing evidence-based practices and providing compassionate care, supported by a team of experienced professionals dedicated to patient outcomes.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Full Motion Physical Therapy, you will work directly with patients in their home environments. This not only allows for tailored treatment plans in the comfort of their residences but also fosters a unique connection with the patients that contributes to their healing process. Our schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, encouraging a work-life balance that supports your well-being as well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations, customizing treatment plans to meet individual needs.
  • Provide hands-on therapy using various manual therapy techniques and modalities, adapting your approach based on progress and patient feedback.
  • Incorporate evidence-based exercise programs designed to improve clients’ strength, flexibility, and endurance, helping them reclaim their mobility.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and preventive care strategies that promote a healthier lifestyle.
  • Continuously monitor and document patient progress using electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Web PT, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that motivates patients throughout their recovery journey.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Conduct regular reassessments of patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
  • Engage in community outreach and education, representing Full Motion Physical Therapy and promoting health awareness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily serve outpatient clients ranging in age and diverse physical needs. Many of our patients are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our practice emphasizes a non-surgical approach, utilizing physical therapy techniques as effective alternatives to medications, thereby improving clients' functional abilities and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is essential for this role.
  • An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is required.
  • Impeccable professional standing with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling the creation of rapport with patients and their families.
  • Proficient in the use of EMR software, particularly Web PT, for documentation and patient management.
  • Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices supported by research and evidence.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, particularly with a home care component.
  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to diverse patient needs.
  • A background in sports medicine and rehabilitation would be considered a strong asset.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Full Motion Physical Therapy also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
