Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, crafting personalized treatment strategies to promote healing and growth.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through secure virtual platforms, adapting sessions to meet the unique variations in client situations and preferences.
• Work collaboratively with clients, establishing a therapeutic alliance, and setting realistic goals to aid in their healing journey.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities based on clients' individual needs, incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Document therapy sessions meticulously, tracking client progress and adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure measurable improvement.

Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals, including adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, relationship challenges, and more. As a remote counselor at Frontier Health Care Inc., you will play a significant role in overcoming barriers to access timely mental health care, particularly for those in underserved areas in San Diego and beyond.

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Possession of a Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or closely related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitated by a high degree of empathy and understanding towards clients' personal experiences.
• Efficient organizational and time-management abilities to handle therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in a fully remote setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, reflecting your caseload and experience level.
