  • Regularly monitor and document client progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and contributing to ongoing treatment adjustments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to facilitate comprehensive care and enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain a supportive and therapeutic environment that encourages open communication and fosters trust with clients.
  • Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing strong assessment skills to de-escalate potentially volatile situations and provide immediate support.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality while fostering a culture of respect and professionalism.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Frontier Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your role will involve tailoring interventions for individuals from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring that treatment approaches are culturally responsive and inclusive. By understanding the unique contexts of your clients, you will contribute to improved mental health outcomes and empower them to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, allowing for independent practice.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.
  • An in-depth understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and adaptivity to new technological tools for client management.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering both individual and group therapy, demonstrating versatility in therapeutic approaches.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor in high-pressure scenarios.
  • Excellence in communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling rapport building with diverse populations.
Compensation and Benefits
