Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

FTE: 1.00
Standard Hours: 40.00
Shift: Shift 1
Shift Details:
Full time position in the Cardiac Cath lab. Working with the providers for all Cardiac cases involving the heart. Including, but not limited to: R/LHC, PCI,s EMBX, CTO /CHIP procedures, ASD / PFO procedures, structural heart (TAVRS / Mitral Clips, TMVRS), etc. Will also be cross trained to Electrophysiology procedures. Must be able to wear lead, work as a team, and display professional behavior in a sometimes-stressful environment. Must be flexible in a patient centric environment. Patient care is always our priority. Call is required during the week, weekends, and holiday rotation.
Job Summary:
Prepares for and assists physician in all procedures done in the Cardiovascular Lab.
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program or two years of field experience as an allied Health professional such as CVT, Radiology Tech, Anesthesia Tech or Paramedic is required.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program is preferred.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within nine months of hire.
