Job description

Overview

Frito Lay is looking for a seasonal shunter to join the team!

The Role: 
The Shunter will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada through organizing and optimizing yard occupancy, completing yard checks, and interacting with vendors, common carriers, and drivers. 

Shift: 12 hrs 3-4 days/week

Compensation: $31.43/hr


Responsibilities

What you’ll be working on: 

  • Operate a yard truck to organize and optimize yard occupancy 
  • Prioritize trailer moves to support warehouse efficiencies 
  • Complete the yard check to verify trailer contents 
  • Maintain cardboard check sheets on a daily basis 
  • Interact with vendors, common carriers, and drivers to provide yard information 
  • Regular and reliable attendance. 
  • Completing Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Food Safety Pre Requisite Programs (PRP/oPRP) that is required for the applicable area 

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements
