Job description

Friends Kitchen & Cocktails is looking for an experienced, dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We're looking for someone who can work confidently in a fast-paced restaurant environment, takes pride in the food they prepare, and understands the importance of consistency, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items accurately and consistently
  • Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality
  • Keep your station clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
  • Properly handle and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Help minimize food waste and maintain proper portioning

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant cooking
  • Strong cooking, food-preparation, and knife skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Ability to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts
