Work Environment

This position is a full-time, remote role, allowing for flexibility while engaging with our detox center clients. Our work culture emphasizes support and communication, enabling our team of social workers and healthcare professionals to collaborate effectively. While the remote setting provides convenience, we maintain a strong team-oriented approach, utilizing tools such as telehealth platforms to facilitate seamless interactions with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between clients and their families, collaborating with outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management to optimize client treatment plans.
• Participate in comprehensive discharge and aftercare planning to ensure clients achieve long-term recovery goals.
• Deliver therapeutic meal support, demonstrating healthy relationships with food and providing contextual guidance.
• Offer empathetic, affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances, actively considering the intersection of their identities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary client population includes individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. We serve a diverse group, offering culturally competent care that reflects the individuals' backgrounds and experiences. As an LCSW in our center, you will have the opportunity to work closely with older adults and those facing multifaceted life challenges, encouraging a holistic approach to their mental wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of California.
• Clinical experience with older adults is essential, underscoring the need for sensitivity towards various life stages and circumstances.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills to assess and develop personalized treatment plans effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, facilitating rapport with clients and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, preferred candidates will possess a background working in detox facilities or similar environments. Familiarity with addiction recovery processes and trauma-informed care practices will significantly enhance your eligibility for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
