Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience

Fredriksen Insurance is a local, family-owned insurance agency that has served Idaho individuals, families, and businesses since 1980. We specialize in employee benefits, individual health insurance, Medicare, and property and casualty insurance.

Position Overview

The Employee Benefits Account Manager will manage an established book of employer-group clients, providing proactive service and overseeing their ongoing benefit needs.

This role will also serve as the primary point of contact for employer groups offering ICHRA benefits, coordinating ongoing administration and support.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, builds strong client relationships, stays ahead of deadlines, and works well with both clients and our internal team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day benefit needs, renewals, and ongoing administration for assigned employer-group clients.

Provide proactive client service, identifying needs and resolving issues through completion.

Coordinate with carriers, enrollment platforms, third-party administrators, and internal team members.

Maintain accurate client records, documentation, tasks, and follow-up in Salesforce.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of employee benefits account management experience required.

Current Idaho Health & Life insurance license required.

Strong technology skills with the ability to quickly learn and confidently navigate multiple online systems and platforms.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with spreadsheets and client data.

Salesforce experience is a plus.

ICHRA experience is a plus; ability and willingness to become highly knowledgeable in ICHRA administration is essential.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Ability to independently manage multiple clients, deadlines, and competing priorities.

$60,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience
