Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG), a highly respected 160+ provider, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking a Hybrid Diagnostic Radiologist Medical Director to join a progressive, high-performing health system and physician-led imaging enterprise. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape imaging quality, strategy, and growth, while maintaining an active clinical hospital practice with hybrid (onsite/remote) flexibility.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality diagnostic radiology interpretations across a broad modality mix
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to support timely, patient-centered care
  • Participate in peer review, quality improvement, and protocol optimization
  • Support coverage models that ensure efficient, reliable service delivery

Medical Director Responsibilities

  • Serve as physician leader for diagnostic imaging services
  • Partner with hospital and medical group leadership on quality, growth, and access initiatives
  • Lead clinical governance, including peer review, standardization, and best practices
  • Support radiologist recruitment, onboarding, and engagement
  • Help shape the future-state imaging strategy, including technology adoption and workflow innovation

Required Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Board Certified Radiologist.
  • Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider)
  • Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation
  • Eligible for participation with all payers
