Foxglove Flowers is looking for a reliable, responsible, and friendly Delivery Driver / Shop Assistant to help deliver beautiful floral arrangements to our customers and assist with basic shop duties.

Position Responsibilities

• Safely and carefully deliver flowers and floral arrangements to homes, businesses, hospitals, funeral homes, and event locations.
• Handle floral arrangements with care to ensure they arrive fresh, beautiful, and in excellent condition.
• Follow delivery instructions and company policies.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
• Communicate with the shop regarding deliveries, addresses, customer questions, or any issues that arise.
• Load and organize deliveries in the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
• Assist with basic shop tasks when not making deliveries, including cleaning, organizing, taking out trash, preparing supplies, and other duties as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading flowers, containers, and supplies.
• Represent Foxglove Flowers in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Comfortable driving in Northern Virginia and the surrounding area.
• Able to lift and carry floral arrangements, buckets, boxes, and supplies up to 50lbs.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple deliveries.
• Friendly, professional, and respectful with customers.
• Able to follow directions and pay attention to details.
• Flexible and willing to help with shop duties when needed.
• Previous delivery, customer service, or floral experience is a plus, but not required.

Important Expectations

This position requires reliability and flexibility, especially during holidays and busy floral seasons. Delivery schedules can change throughout the day, and the ability to stay organized and communicate with the shop is essential.
