Job Summary:
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Forward Health is responsible for monitoring clients in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. This role involves supervising daily activities, conducting room checks, overseeing medications, light household cleaning, and maintaining an orderly environment within the housing facility. BHTs provide essential support to clients, help enforce facility rules, and document any incidents or behavioral concerns. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred, as the position may require transporting clients to and from appointments. This is a hands-on role that requires compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, professional, and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in recovery.
