-Job Type: Part-Time, onsite. PA Locations: King of Prussia

-Reports to director of respective line of business

-NM Contract: Non-Registered or Registered Associate Financial

Representative

-20 hours on average per week, June through August 2027

RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk Management Operations:

·        Support financial advisors in various activities of the sales cycle for non securities products.

·        Shadow and independently complete the following:

o   Insurance Illustrations for Advisor’s Client Presentations.

o   Insurance and other risk based product applications.

o   Arranging of medical, paramedical, and any exams necessary for underwriting.

o   Servicing of existing clients.

·        Assist with monitoring Life, Disability, and Long Term Care applications throughout the underwriting process.

·        Assist with Tracking Policy Delivery Requirements and Policy Deliveries.

Wealth Management (Investment):

·        Assist in preparing account opening paperwork.

·        Assist in creating proposals.

·        Learn how the markets work and the various investment vehicles.

·        Attend investment committee meetings to review portfolio construction.

·        Develop an understanding of investment strategies.

·        Support servicing of existing clients.

Financial Planning Associate:

·        Develop an in-depth understanding of financial planning, investments, and tax planning.

·        Gather and analyze financial information, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, to assist in the development of comprehensive financial plans.

·        Assess clients' current financial situations and future needs to develop customized strategies for achieving their goals.

·        Build out financial plans within financial planning software, communicate with advisors on any recommendations or changes, and deliver financial plans for use with clients.

Financial Representative:

·        Start building the foundation in finance, insurance, and sales that will help you deliver excellent financial security to your clients.

·        Learn about our planning process to provide financial solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

·        Participate in ongoing training as assigned, including role playing exercises to develop communication skills, language mastery, and sales knowledge.

·        Track daily activity including dialing, meetings kept, and introductions.

·        Build and maintain own book of business through high activity, including prospecting.

·        Engage in other sales and firm wide activities to learn the entirety of the business.

All intern tracks:

·        Acquire Life and Accident license in the state of PA - company sponsored

·        Assist with special projects.

·        Interact with operations team.

·        Learn about each of the firms’ lines of business and explore opportunities within each.

·        Shadow advisors with interactions with clients.

·        Other tasks/projects as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONSRequired

·        Proficient in Microsoft Applications, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel

·        Going into Junior or Senior year of college

·        Strong communications skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate effectively with team and others

·        Customer service experience beneficial

·        Desire to learn and grow

·        Excellent time management skills
