Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while working from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Fort Bend Counseling Aid, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations to identify diagnoses and formulate personalized treatment plans aligned with clients' unique needs.
• Maintaining a consistent caseload of 25-30 client visits per week, encompassing individual, family, and group therapy sessions via telehealth or in-person at the outpatient office.
• Delivering high-quality customer service to clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and empathetically.
• Implementing innovative therapy interventions and techniques to help clients meet and exceed their mental health goals.
• Documenting sessions meticulously according to organizational policies, which includes preparing detailed progress notes, treatment plan reviews, and further diagnostic evaluations.
• Collaborating with case managers, medical personnel, family members, and school staff to coordinate care effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population includes children, adolescents, couples, and families who may be navigating various challenges, including mental health issues, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a firm understanding of family dynamics to tailor their approach most effectively. Cultural competence and sensitivity are essential in addressing the unique needs of our clients.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated knowledge of family therapy services and community resources.
• Experience with documenting assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes, particularly in accordance with mental health regulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, illustrating the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Proven ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients while fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Experience working with a diverse array of clients, including those from different cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to successfully clear a background check.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a mental health setting, ideally within outpatient services.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage documentation efficiently.
• Proven experience in fee collection processes and navigating insurance claims.

Compensation and Benefits

Fort Bend Counseling Aid provides an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
