Associate Relationship Manager
Foresight Risk and Insurance Services Inc. (“Foresight”) is looking for an experienced insurance
professional to join our team as an Associate Relationship Manager.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships with brokers, having substantive conversations about complex risks, and helping move submissions efficiently from intake to bind.
This is not a call-center role and not entry-level. We’re looking for candidates with a strong understanding of the marketplace who can confidently engage with brokers, uncover key underwriting insights, and help position submissions for success in a competitive market.

Responsibilities
- Engage directly with brokers and intermediary partners through consultative, real-time conversations Build and strengthen long-term relationships within the wholesale broker community
- Gather missing submission materials and critical underwriting details for complex or non-standard risks
Qualify and position submissions by identifying:
-Risk characteristics, coverage gaps, and client pain points
-Target pricing, market appetite, and competitive dynamics
-Submission structure (controlled vs. open market, layered placements, etc.)
-Claims history, operations, and exposure details relevant to underwriting
Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure submissions are properly quoted
Follow up on quoted risks to capture broker feedback, competitive intel, and win/loss insights
Maintain detailed, accurate, and actionable notes in CRM systems to support underwriting and business strategy
Build and strengthen long-term relationships within the wholesale broker community
Requirements
- 2+ years of Commercial P amp;C insurance experience, with strong exposure to Workers’ Compensation
- Experience within brokerage, MGA, program administrator, or carrier-facing distribution strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of E amp;S (Excess amp; Surplus) lines and/or non-admitted markets
- Familiarity with complex or hard-to-place risks, or multi-market submissions preferred
- Strong understanding of submission flow, underwriting requirements, and broker expectations
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with brokers and extract key underwriting details
- Strong phone presence with the ability to lead consultative, credibility-building conversations
- Ability to assess submission quality and identify gaps quickly
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience working with program business or niche underwriting segments
- Understanding of broker behavior, market access strategies, and competitive positioning
- Ability to interpret loss runs, mod factors, and exposure data at a high level
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Active P amp;C License (preferred)
- Surplus lines familiarity is a plus

As a fully remote company, the compensation range provided is based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, and other business and organizational needs and is based on national averages*.
At Foresight, and its subsidiaries, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$75,000 + equity
*Location will be considered if the role is required to be located in a certain geographic area.
