Commercial Insurance Policy Administration Specialist
Foresight Risk and Insurance Services Inc. (“Foresight”) seeking a detail-oriented Policy Administration Specialist to support policy operations across our commercial insurance portfolio, with a strong emphasis on Workers’ Compensation.
This role is responsible for supporting policy servicing activities, including renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, loss run and claims-related requests, account management, premium audits, and other policy servicing needs.
The Policy Administration Specialist will work closely with Underwriting, Operations, Finance, brokers, carrier partners, and other internal teams to ensure policy servicing requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with carrier requirements and applicable regulations.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in commercial insurance operations, particularly Workers’ Compensation, and is comfortable providing account and customer service support in a fast-paced, technology-enabled MGA environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial insurance policies throughout the policy lifecycle, including renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and non-renewals, with a primary emphasis on Workers’ Compensation.
  • Review policy information and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Process policy servicing transactions and generate notices, certificates, and other policy-related documentation within established service-level expectations.
  • Maintain accurate policy records and data.
  • Support Workers’ Compensation policy administration, including premium audit questions and disputes.
  • Research and resolve policy discrepancies, processing exceptions, and data-quality issues, coordinating with Underwriting and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide policy servicing and account management support, including responding to loss run and claims-related requests.
  • Provide customer service support by handling incoming calls and assigned phone queue requests.
  • Support consistent policy administration processes across commercial insurance products and carrier programs as the portfolio expands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance operations, policy administration, underwriting support, or a related insurance role preferred.
  • Workers’ Compensation experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with an MGA, MGU, commercial insurance carrier, InsurTech, brokerage, or similar insurance organization preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance policy lifecycle activities, including issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Familiarity with Workers’ Compensation class codes, payroll exposures, experience modification factors, audits, and state-specific requirements is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with NCCI, WCIRB and/or independent state rating bureaus is a plus.
  • Experience using Salesforce to manage policy workflows, account and broker information, service requests, tasks, and operational reporting preferred.
  • Experience working with policy administration systems and other insurance technology platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Underwriting, Operations, Technology, Finance, and external partners.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving MGA/InsurTech environment.

As a fully remote company, the compensation range provided is based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, and other business and organizational needs and is based on national averages*.
At Foresight, and its subsidiaries, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000-$65,000 + bonus + equity.
*Location will be considered if the role is required to be located in a certain geographic area.
