Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Corona, CA. This position supports demolition projects from planning through completion, working closely with project managers, field supervisors, and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with project scheduling, coordinating materials and subcontractors, preparing technical documentation, and maintaining accurate project records. The Project Engineer reviews drawings and specifications, supports estimating and bid preparation, and helps identify field issues and workable solutions. The role involves conducting site visits, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and facilitating effective communication between office and field teams.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with diverse project stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to support scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and coordination of demolition activities.
  • Candidates should possess Project Engineering skills, including interpreting construction documents, preparing technical reports, and assisting in field problem-solving.
  • Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge relevant to demolition work, such as understanding power systems, de-energizing procedures, and coordination with electrical trades.
  • Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Beneficial skills include familiarity with construction and demolition safety standards, proficiency with project management and CAD software, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work on-site in Corona, CA, travel to local job sites as needed, and maintain a safety-first mindset in all project activities.
