Job Posting: A‐Level Automobile Technician
Location: La Habra, CA
Position Type: Full‐Time, Monday-Friday, 1 Saturday a month.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and certified A‐Level Automobile Technician to join our modern service department. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing advanced maintenance on a wide range of vehicles using the latest tools and diagnostic software. You will work directly with service advisors and customers to ensure accurate estimates and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostic procedures using OEM and aftermarket scan tools.
- Conduct advanced repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, braking systems, transmissions, engine performance, HVAC, and steering/suspension.
- Complete full‐vehicle inspections and provide detailed repair recommendations.
- Accurately document all work performed, including parts and labor, in the shop management system.
- Explain technical issues and repair processes to service advisors and customers in clear, non‐technical terms.
- Stay current with manufacturer technical service bulletins, recalls, and emerging automotive technologies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
Qualifications (Must‐Have)
- Valid Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification as an A1‐A8 Master Technician or equivalent OEM Master Technician certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‐on experience as a professional automotive technician.
- Proven expertise in advanced diagnostics and repair of modern vehicle systems (hybrid/electric vehicle experience is a strong plus).
- Proficiency with diagnostic software (e.g., Bosch, Snap‐on, AUTEL, OEM‐specific tools) and electronic service information.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Own a complete set of professional hand tools.
